Some have said this is a silly strategy: “no one checks their email on holidays”.
That may be true, but I want to make sure you know what’s happening in San Diego, no matter when you start the week.

Really quick: if you’ve been tracking event locations with me, you might have noticed a surge of North County events. North of the 52 is exciting and active!
I’m happy to travel (I do enjoy adventure). But I also enjoy the canyons to the south. If you’ve noticed this too and would like to collaborate, or highlight events south of the 52, give me a howl!

When I was getting my start in tech, I was the “local guy” for Handy, an on-demand home cleaning startup. We didn’t have an office, so I worked from my kitchen table.
There was just one catch: when we onboarded home cleaners, they’d come to my place.
Ten people sweeping my apartment three times a week did make it extremely clean… but that also meant 30 strangers were getting my address every week.
I needed a new set up.
HQ was in New York and having people to grab coffee with, take dog walks, or chat with after a long day made a difference for me.
