I get asked a lot why I do this.

"Because it's cool" is my honest answer. And I know that doesn't fully land.

But here's what I've figured out along the way. There are two things that genuinely bring me joy.

Finding cool things happening in San Diego and making sure that people know about them.

And connecting folks together, finding the person who can solve the problem, and making sure they know each other.

That's the whole thing.

We've been calling it a discovery engine. Our coyote nose pointed at San Diego, sharing what we find.

The newsletter does that for a big group. But I've been wanting to go a little deeper with a smaller one. That's what Super Coyote is becoming. More on that below.

Enough about me. Where will we see you in the wild this week? 🐾

Some of you have been Super Coyotes already. I had launched an iteration that wasn't quite right, perhaps I wasn't ready.

This version is different.

Super Coyote is becoming a small community for people who want to go deeper on San Diego. The kind of things that come up when builders are in the same room together.

The weekly Howlpha. A deeper read on San Diego tech, every Thursday.

A member Slack. Swap intel and find a familiar face before you walk into the den.

Coyote Coffees. Small gatherings that won't always make it onto LinkedIn.

We have our first 10 Super Coyotes. Howl yeah.

The founding rate is $15 a month. That price doesn't go up.

Into the Den is our podcast. San Diego founders, operators, and builders telling the real story. Recorded and coming soon: Alex Waters & James Zanewicz

The Super Coyote is becoming a small community for people who want to go deeper on San Diego. If you're not in yet, join us.

The Career Coyote is for the builders on the move. Growing San Diego companies that are hiring.

And if we’re not connected on LinkedIn yet, that's where the howling happens between issues.

Howl yeah, looking forward to seeing you in the wild this week,

Jonah 🐺
