Under the full moon (which we totally planned), at 7 pm, we’ll kick off the Howl House Side Quest hour.
Here's how it works. Bring a small object that has a story attached to it. Find a person you’ve connected with at the event and trade it with them.
The value of the object isn’t what’s important. It’s the story behind it that makes it interesting.
Here's an example of an object:
Years ago, when Thorn St Brewing was still Thorn St Brewing, they held trivia nights.
My cousin would come to town for work every other month, and we'd go as a ritual.
I’m pretty good, but he has an uncanny ability in trivia. We got hot and won, over and over. The prize was a combo of pride and free beer tokens.
I found some of these priceless tokens in a drawer this weekend. I have no idea if they're still good to use, but I’ve added them to a necklace as an object to swap.
They're a cool piece of San Diego beer history for the right person. The story is what matters most, and the memory of the person who shared it with you is the treasure.
