Howl yeah it’s Monday and I’m happy you’re here.

Happy Howladays. I hope you’re staying warm out there. I hear the temp might drop into the 50s. What is this, Antarctica? But nothing a tinie weenie beenie cant fix. (Have you seen that SNL skit?).

I loved howling with you in the the streets of San Diego this year and I’ve learned a few simple lessons along the way. The most profound, and maybe the most important, is consistency. I’ve found that consistently getting out of my cave has led to many more connections than I would have anticipated. The more I recognize faces the easier it is to say “What’s up?” and start a conversation. It’s about practice really.

The other piece of consistency is to never miss a Monday. It requires extra work on Saturday and Sunday to make sure we have everything to start the week off right and our events lists are ready for the pack. But this is something that is worth every second. The last thing I want is for us to spend extra time searching for places to get connected.

We’re all building something, a company, a networking, a connection or community. If I can make this a little easier then I feel like I’ve succeeded. If there’s something I can do to improve. Then I’m all ears. Seriously, ping me in The Den (our slack community).

I’ve enjoyed this year of connecting and here are a few photos to prove it. Feel free to add your own to the thread.

I love our city and I’m eager for the new year to continue to build together.
