Welcome, Social Coyote!

How do we define pack success?

We’ve got a really fun conversation happening on LinkedIn right now about metrics.

Yes it’s a newsletter and we can consider the standards: subscribers, open rates and events posted. I have all these if you’re curious.

But what good is it to publish an events newsletter focused on leaving our dens without a metric to show if it’s working?

I suppose, even if no one left home, we’d still be adding value by sharing the heartbeat of the city (a quote someone shared with me recently which I love).

But the real metrics for success are much harder to track. They are variable, and they’re probably different for everyone.

Here are a few suggestions from the community:

  • Cups of coffee consumed - Jeff

  • How about how much fun you are having - Stacy

  • ‘Googling "how to track good vibes through metrics" lol’ - Chris

  • Shoutout to Luke and Crystal who have both directly added value to my business and I met them both at your first "Pack of One" event in Liberty Station - Jeremy

Comments like this are why it’s so fun to build the Coyote together in public.

Okay, ready to help me out?
