Howl Yeah It’s Monday!

It’s hard not to feel thankful in a vibrant city like San Diego, even though I’m feeling a little antsy to get out there during a slower week. But I think a pause is important to reflect on what we have.

Here are a few things I’m feeling thankful for; feel free to add to the list:

Excellent Event Organizers: These are the pack leaders who bring us together, who put in the work behind the scenes finding venues, speakers and picking themes. We get to enjoy the fruits of their labor, but it often starts long before we arrive.

A Vibrant Pack: I’m so energized that so many of us want to get out, meet someone new, and get connected. Ahwoo!

The SD Weather: It’s easy to forget that our wonderful weather opens up an enormous amount of opportunities for patio connections, beach hikes and founders surfs. I was reminded of how good we have it while watching snow fall at the Browns vs. Steelers game. I sat on my couch feeling chilly in a light hoodie.

The Humble Coyote: The pack has sent me so many blurs of fur—photos that are unmistakably coyote! I love it.

SD Generosity: All the connectors who’ve offered an introduction. Our webs are expanding and the more connected we all get the smaller the city feels.

Streaks: The streak continues! Remember, Thanksgiving counts.
