🐺 San Diego Momentum: Why Our Pack Feels Stronger Than Ever

There are several reasons why I believe in the momentum of San Diego right now:

• Our event organizers. Folks like Fred, Neal, the organizers at Startup San Diego, WVS, and even the revived Startup Weekend team are bringing the community together! Just to name a few. Each is doing it in a unique way and creating spaces for many to connect.

• In person is having a moment. It never left, but it sure feels like the more digital we go, the more we crave in-person connections. I certainly do anyway.

• The best climate on the planet. We can connect outside on a patio, hike (with a dance party at the end?!), walk and talk, or just take a call outside. We’re deep into 2nd summer (a personal favorite season here), let’s get outside.

• You can tease me for saying “vibes,” but I’ve never seen a community more open to sharing connections.

Big howl for Rose Bowlus Law. They are growing and just opened a new office in Rancho Santa Fe!

If you know Rose, you know she has been showing up for founders all over San Diego, from mentoring at REC Innovation to opening up free Friday AMAs for the pack. Now she and her team have a new den, and they are looking forward to hosting the community there.

The space has that calm Rancho Santa Fe feel. Light, open, and easy to settle into for a good conversation. And like Rose says, the best connections still happen in person.
