I heard this the other day, and I wanted to share it here.
What does it mean to me?
It means we can adapt to our environment and adjust how we show up, as long as we don’t compromise who we are.
The risk of not being a chameleon is staying stuck in one environment. If we never adapt, we miss the chance to connect with new people, new ideas, and new opportunities.
We have such great energy here in San Diego. We’re casual, beachy at times, but we can elevate too. And this is something that this Padres-hating, Always Positive hoodie–wearing coyote has been thinking about lately.
The values are what matter. They’re what hold our community together, even when we show up in different ways at different events.
We can adapt to our environment and still be who we are, and that’s what makes this community strong.
