Our Howl-o-ween home base. Mission Beach.
We’re throwing a Howl-o-ween party, and we’ve locked in a venue overlooking the ocean in Mission Beach.
If you come early enough, we might catch a sunset over the ocean together and an elusive green flash. No promises on that last one. I’ve spent years trying to observe the phenomenon.
More importantly, we want to keep bringing our pack together to connect on a more personal level.
We’re keeping the no nametags, business cards, or hype. This is more about San Diego spending a little time getting to know each other, which has been the whole point of this newsletter the entire time.
If we take away the nametags and the “what do you do?” lines of questioning, we need to gift you something in exchange. The Side Quest hour is coming back, along with a few other quests.
Oh, and release your inner kiddo and wear a costume. This may be part of the Side Quest hour.
This time, we’re also bringing in a few of our favorite San Diego startups to throw the party with us. This part has been incredibly fun.
Our end-of-summer party was awesome. We’re on to 2nd Summer now.

A few weeks back, I realized I never hear about most of the cool Coyote connections that happen from events or posts.
Sometimes I find out months later if someone decides to share, but usually it never comes up. I’m okay with connecting for the sake of connecting.
But it is sometimes fun to hear the stories about a new friend, venture, company, or romantic partner?!
