All the San Diego happenings you should know about
Why do I do this?
Why am I spending hours each week putting this list of events together for the pack?
It's because I love the vibrant energy of this city. I love meeting new coyotes in San Diego, helping our community connect, and doing my part to help this ecosystem grow. Plus, coyotes are just plain cool.
It's incredibly rewarding to see all this hard work paying off. The best moments are when someone approaches me during a Founders hike, for example, to introduce themselves after reading the Coyote, or when they share their "howl yeah" spirit by saying the Coyote is why they were there!
Howl yeah, this is real.
I was recently chatting with a friend about the difference between sending an email and attending an event in person. About how the culture of newsletters is typically "do not reply." Writers hit send, and we, as readers, usually open and mark them as read (most of the time), hopefully gaining some value along the way.
But I find much more joy in meeting people in San Diego.
With that theme in mind, I was hoping to change the Coyote culture a bit.
This is no longer a “DoNotReply@” email. This is a “SendMeAHowl@” one. Or if that’s way too complicated, how about just hitting the reply button and sending me a note, it goes to [email protected]!
I’m just a humble coyote like you looking to get connected in San Diego.
Howl yeah, see you out there!
